BBL Tickets Guide 2026-27

BBL|16 tickets for Australian matches went on public sale on 20 August 2026, with early-bird pricing running until 5 November unless allocations sell out first. Chennai opener tickets followed on 10 October via District by Zomato. Prices vary by fixture and category — this guide deliberately does not quote prices that can change; it tells you where and when to buy, and which nights sell first.

The nights that sell out first

Boxing Day (Sixers vs Heat at the SCG, Scorchers vs Stars at Optus), New Year's Eve at Adelaide Oval, the Melbourne Derbies at the MCG on 4 and 16 January, and the Sydney Smash at the SCG on 15 January are the fastest movers every summer. The Chennai opener — a one-off piece of history in a 38,000-seat stadium — is in the same bracket. Finals tickets are released once the top four and venues are confirmed.

Choosing a ground

First-timers should read the venue guides before booking: the MCG for scale, Adelaide Oval for the New Year's Eve tradition, Optus Stadium for the loudest home crowd in the league, and Junction Oval if you want boutique Christmas Eve cricket up close. Every fixture and venue pairing is on the schedule page.
